The Bead Store is located on Warwick Boulevard (Route 60) in the historic Hilton Village area of Newport News. The speed limit through Hilton Village is 25 mph.
Ample free public parking is available on the street and in parking lots at the corner of Warwick and Main Street, beside Beecroft and Bull, and behind the Village Theater.
From Virginia Beach via the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel:
Take the 664 Bypass exit (near the Hampton Coliseum). From 664, take the 35th Street exit, slowing down at the top of the exit to merge right onto the Warwick Boulevard exit.
The Bead Store is on your left, about three miles straight down Warwick Boulevard in historic Hilton Village, at the end of the first block after the intersection of Warwick Boulevard and Main Street.
From Chesapeake or Norfolk via the Monitor Merrimac Bridge Tunnel:
Take exit 5 (35th Street & Jefferson Avenue). This is a weird exit. It immediately splits right for 35th Street, and goes straight down a hill for Jefferson Avenue. Stay in the right-hand lane of the exit and IMMEDIATELY exit right again for 35th street. (Don't go down the hill to Jefferson Avenue. If you miss the sharp turn onto the 35th Street exit, go down the hill and turn left on Jefferson Avenue. Go approximately three miles on Jefferson Avenue, and turn left on Main Street to intersect with Warwick Boulevard in Hilton Village.) Merge quickly into the right-hand lane again to exit onto Warwick Boulevard. If you miss the exit onto Warwick Boulevard, turn left on 35th Street to wrap back under the exit, and turn left on Warwick Boulevard.
The Bead Store is about three miles straight down Warwick Boulevard in historic Hilton Village, on your left at the end of the first block after the intersection of Warwick Boulevard and Main Street.
From Williamsburg via I-64 East:
Take exit 258-A (J. Clyde Morris Boulevard/Route 17). Go straight for several miles to the intersection with Warwick Boulevard (Route 60), just past Riverside Hospital. Turn left on Warwick Boulevard (at the big propeller/Mariner's Museum).
The Bead Store is on your right about 2 1/2 miles straight down Warwick Boulevard in historic Hilton Village, just after Post Street, and just before the Main Street intersection.
