How to use Bullion
Materials:
#4 nylon Beading thread
Medium Bullion
Steel flex eye needle
Clasps
Pearls or assortment of beads
Bullion is mostly used when knotting pearls. It hides the thread that shows where the clasp is placed. It also gives the finished piece a more appealing look. (Note): You can also use bullion when using softflex. You would place the bullion after the crimp bead.

Step 1. Cut two pieces of bullion a ¼” long. Cut a 20” piece of thread and thread it through the eye of the needle. String a pearl , a piece of bullion and one end of clasp. This measurement of thread is for a standard size bracelet.

Step 2. Pass the needle back through the pearl only. Pull snug. The bullion should bunch up and form a horseshoe shape around the clasp.

Start knotting the pearls from this point. When you get to the end, do not knot between the last two pearls. Thread straight through both pearls and add your other piece of bullion, other end of clasp and go back through the last pearl and now knot there.
